Alpha Chi

Established in 1973, the University of Utah Gerontology Interdisciplinary Program prepares leaders to meet the demands of population aging through certificate options to both undergraduate and graduate students; an undergraduate minor; and a Master of Science degree.  Students have the opportunity to become actively engaged members of SPO through service projects, Careers in Aging Events, and leadership opportunities that promote the study of aging in all disciplines. Ten committed full time faculty members are actively engaged in the Gerontological Society of America, the Association of Gerontology in Higher Education, the University of Utah Center on Aging and the Hartford Center for Geriatric Nursing Excellence. http://nursing.utah.edu/gerontology/index.php
