President’s Student Paper

Sigma Phi Omega’s President’s Student Paper Award was created in 2005 to recognize outstanding student member research.  Sigma Phi Omega presented the first annual President’s Student Paper Award at the 2006 AGHE Annual Meeting.  This tradition continues at the Annual Business and Awards Meeting during the Southern Gerontological Society (SGS) Conference.

How to Apply

Papers are reviewed by the SPO and SGS award committees.  The student selected for this award receives a cash award of $200 and will present their paper at the SPO Business meeting held at SGS.  Students can submit the same manuscript for multiple awards, but can only be awarded one award per annual meeting.
